Eating and fishing

September 5, 2010

Yes we’ve been eating and fishing, in that order, on the central Pacific coast of Ecuador. We’ve also eaten a few of the things Colin caught. This is a leopard grouper or cherna in Spanish, which Colin caught in Bahia de Caraquez.

Lunch with some new friends from Quito in the little town of Canoa, at Restaurante Lolita.

So glad to see your blog up and going. It makes me feel closer to all of you and able to share in your adventure.

This is a great fish that Colin caught….he is such a good fisherman. I’m sure he will find many good fishing holes in Ecuador and maybe many other countries during his life.

Travel safely….know you have our love….and keep posting about your exciting year!

    Love to you all….Mom

Glad to see you’re there! Looks like Colin didn’t waste any time getting aquainted with the local fish. Hope spanish lessons are going well.
    happy adventures!

    Howdy –
Great to have your blog. The places you’ve already been sound so interesting. Hope Colin is not missing his friends too much. But I can see that he’s getting his expertise in fishing expanded! I’ll share the link with Uncle Jim so he can keep up-to-date.
    Enjoy & Blessings!
